Microbial characterization using selective media culture. Provides general microbial levels as well as general types of microbes present, depending on the media selection (e.g. Total Yeast & Mold, coliforms, bile-tolerant gram negatives, listeria, aerobic plate count / heterotrophic plate count, etc.).
Useful in routine monitoring programs for fertigation and water systems, surface swabs, etc. to ensure microbial safety and validate biosecurity and sanitization programs are effective.
